LESLIE HOLLINGWORTH has performed as a chamber and solo pianist throughout the UK and Italy, as well as in Vienna, Spain, Hungary, Beijing, Ireland and the USA. Collaborations with distinguished artists have led to appearances at major concert venues including London’s Wigmore Hall, Beijing Concert Hall, Shannon International Music Festival, Endellion Festival, Chichester Festivities, and Festival de Pollença, Mallorca. Recorded output includes broadcasts for Italian radio and Lyric FM, a CD with the Szabó Trio recorded at Champs Hill (sponsored by the actress Dame Patricia Routledge OBE), and he can be heard in concert at the Teatro Communal de Bologna with the American cellist Lynn Harrell at classicalplus.gmn.com.
Born in Bradford, West Yorkshire (England) in 1974, Leslie was a scholar at the Royal Academy of Music in London, and Bloomington School of Music at Indiana University, USA. He has taught at the Junior Guildhall School of Music and Drama, the Bexley Centre for Music, King’s College London, and has lectured for the Academic Studies Department of the Royal Academy of Music. He also works as a grade and diploma examiner for the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music.
